A few tips for displaying your flowers

Remember

  • Your vases must be kept clean: using bleach or a proprietary cleaner will pay dividends
  • It is always best to use fresh, lukewarm water. Lukewarm water has less oxygen, so there is less risk of air bubbles in the stem stopping the flowers from drinking the water
  • The sachet of cut flower food will feed and protect the flowers so use it
  • Not to put flowers in bright sunlight, on TVs, by radiators or near Agas!

Don't forget to

  • Check the vase water level regularly. Topping up as necessary
  • Change the water if it is polluted and use some more flower food
  • Re-cut the stems after a week, as this helps water uptake
  • Remove faded flowers as they appear
